Unlike many courses that pride themselves on scaring away beginners with intimidating layouts and punishing experienced players with incredible length, Chandler Park, instead, prides itself on being playable for all golfers by presenting a full 18-hole course that’s suitable for someone just learning the game, or an experienced player looking to improve. Foliage and mature trees do come into play on many of the course’s holes, and dreaded fairway bunkers are lurking around seemingly every corner. The greens here, well-maintained and smooth rolling, are also often crowned, making slightly inaccurate approach shots a challenge to convert into an up-and-down. Play well off of the tee and execute your approach shots with accuracy, and you might just have a chance of shooting one of your lowest rounds of the year when you visit Chandler.
