Completely renovated in 1999, this heavily wooded landscape features acres of pristine forest, unforgettable scenic views, and a 6,700-yard golf course that features some of the area’s toughest holes. Water, marshland, and bunkers are your biggest challenges here – so be sure to play it safe more often than not.

In contrast to its sister East course, Pearl West is a links-style layout that is reminiscent of some of Europe’s best layouts. Given a prestigious 4 ½ star rating by Golf Digest in 2004, this layout has only improved since – utilizing the bluffs overlooking the coastal marshland and scenic Calabash River for one of the finest finishes in American golf. Playing a lengthy 7,000 yards from the back set of tees, and carrying a course/slope rating of 73.1/133, you’ll need every shot in your bag to conquer Peal West and its reputation of being one of the most challenging courses in the area.
