Skytop Lodge
Take your game to one of America’s finest resort courses with today’s feature: $25 for 18 Holes with Cart and Range Balls at Skytop Lodge in the Heart of The Pocono Mountains ($82 Value. Expires June 1, 2018!)
The 18-hole championship golf course was designed by Robert White, the first president of the PGA of America, who also was instrumental in creating the inaugural PGA Championship. His golf design acumen came from his friends and colleagues A.W. Tillinghast, Donald Ross and the Olmstead brothers, the landscape architects who designed New York’s Central Park, the lawns at Pinehurst Resort and Skytop Lodge’s magnificent gardens and golf course layout.
Skytop Lodge’s location at the “Top of the Poconos” offers long panoramic views unseen anywhere in northeast Pennsylvania. The property is situated on an old farm which offers gentle elevation changes to please the eye. The links meander around the beautiful natural setting with wide and generous fairways running along lakes, creeks, waterfalls, majestic hemlock trees and age-old apple trees.
At Skytop no two holes are the same. The golf course offers the player the opportunity to use every club in their bag with a challenging collection of right and left doglegs mixed in with long and short holes.
And while the golf course design is a pleasant step back in time, the facilities at Skytop are everything the modern golfer expects. Skytop Lodge offers full bag service, a 300-yard driving range, putting and chipping greens, a fully stocked pro shop, locker rooms, a lake view restaurant, and—last but not least—a well-appointed bar for those who choose to play 19 holes! Golf at Skytop Lodge is more than just another round of golf—it’s an adventure back in time.
