Though upon first glance Green Valley’s layout may seem relatively void of any serious trouble, you’ll quickly find that accuracy and shot execution are your two keys to staying as close to par as possible throughout your round. Designed by Norman Knight and opened in the mid 1970s, the layout harkens back to a simpler time: where fairways were wide and relatively straight, greens were small and circular, and length was less important than knowing how to navigate the course properly. Both sand bunkers and water have a limited presence on the course, with the latter being your biggest concern because of the sprawling creeks and large pond found smack-dab in the middle of the course. Stay away from this hazardous intrusion and be sure to play your distances properly, and you’ve certainly got a shot to walk away from this 3,100-yard course proud of your play on the day.

Along with the beautiful course, what just might impress you most about this course is the atmosphere. Though many of today’s more prestigious golf courses seem to have forgotten this extremely important aspect, Green Valley hasn’t, and you’ll find yourself comfortable and relaxed from the moment you arrive – freeing you up to play your best.
