Now, almost 100 years later, the course has been improved and updated, but its original timeless spirit remains - promising each golfer who comes to tee it up a playing experience that they’ll never forget.

Though it is extremely short compared to today’s courses, this 5,000-yard layout shouldn’t be mistaken for being an easy mark - it’s anything but. Fairways, though several are fairly generous to an errantly hit shot, are for the most part protected by large areas of mature trees, not to mention water on several of the course’s holes. The greens, mostly small and rounded which is typical for the era in which they were constructed, are a marvel of consistency and quality - rolling deceivingly fast and undulated for even the most accomplished and patient putter. Moreover, the greens are very well protected thanks to the influx of large, white sand bunkers that stand between you and a green hit in regulation.
