Though the first hole–a straightforward par-4 with little challenge other than several fairway bunkers in the landing area–may lure you into a true sense of comfort and ease, you’ll want to keep your guard up as you continue your round. Water becomes a major factor from the second hole on, culminating on the par-5 12th – the course’s second most difficult hole. Featuring a 90-degree dogleg with water both on the right side of the fairway and in front of the green, #12 requires three great and accurate shots to have a shot at par or better. But don’t make the mistake of thinking your work is done after 12; four of the final six holes also feature water in play – meaning you’ll need to stay accurate to the end if you want to finish strong.
