Harbor Links Golf Club
Tucked along the eastern edge of Brookville Lake in Southeast Indiana lies Harbor Links Golf Club, one of the state's treasured resort destinations.
Established in 2002, Harbor Links is the centerpiece of the Sagamore Resort experience. The course was designed by P.B. Dye, the youngest child of illustrious course architects Pete and Alice Dye, and their discerning eye and keen sense of balanced design is certainly hereditary.
The 18-hole, championship par-72 layout measures 7,024 yards from the back tees with a 73.4/128 course/slope rating, but employs three sets of forward tees to accommodate every guest. Expansive views of Brookville Lake and the Whitewater River Valley surround the course, where peace and quiet abound — save for the occasional passing watercraft.
Mr. Dye's design features limited artificial earth work, opting to make the most of the course's natural terrain. That theme — of preserving history — carried over to other aspects of the course: Concrete from State Road 101 fortifying greenside banks, an old county bridge in service on No. 12. A sampling of the accolades earned by this course indicate that these finishing touches hit home:
• #7 - Top 15 Courses in Indiana 2014 (Golf Advisor)
• #31 - Top 50 Courses under $50 in the U.S. 2016 (Golf Advisor)
• #37 - Top 50 Courses in the U.S. 2016
• #5 - Top 5 Courses in Indiana 2016
Come enjoy the relaxing atmosphere at Harbor Links Golf Club, one of the top resort courses in the state.
