Just like its sister Bald Mountain course, Apple Valley’s 6,700-yard layout is a force to be reckoned with. Designed by Dan Maples and opened in the mid-eighties, Apple Valley offers a breathtaking round of 18 with views and vistas you’re only used to seeing in golf magazines. Chock-full of areas of water, sand bunkers, and changes in elevation, Apple Valley is a shotmakers course, as evidenced by its 73.2/140 USGA rating. You’ll need every shot in your bag working well if you want to shoot a low score on the day here.
