Golden Hawk Golf Club
Golden Hawk Golf Club is an 18-hole facility designed by John Grissim in 1996, and since then, it's earned a well-deserved spot among local golfers' favorite courses.
Measuring 6,380 yards from the back tees, Golden Hawk was designed along level terrain, with scenic tree-lined holes which use strategic bunkering along with numerous water hazards to keep players on their toes. Bentgrass fairways feature generous landing areas but you'll still be punished if you start spraying the long ball all around the yard.
Nine different ponds come into play on twelve holes and have been known to happily swallow up wayward shots from careless or indiscriminate players. Lucky for you, most hazards can be negotiated with some forward thinking.
Get loose for the day's round at the full-length driving range and pace your putts on the practice green before you head over to the first tee.
When you're done with your round and ready to relax, count up the strokes at Golden Hawk’s Bar & Restaurant, located in the clubhouse, which serves a variety of appetizers, salads, and sandwiches. A full-service bar is available as well and stocked with all of your favorites.
Golden Hawk Golf Club is the type of course on which the low-handicappers will push their personal bests and the beginners will fall in love with the game. Experience it for yourself, and add it to your favorites list, too.
