The Preserve Golf Club
Play one of Florida’s scenic gems with today’s feature: $22 for 18 Holes with Cart and Range Balls at The Preserve Golf Club in Dunnellon ($54 Value. Includes Tax. Expires May 1, 2021!)
Designed by the talented Terry Doss and opened for play in the late nineties, today’s feature course, The Preserve Golf Club, is one of the most scenic rounds of golf you’ll ever play in the Sunshine State. Surrounded by both a nature preserve and state forest, the picturesque grounds are littered with incredible indigenous natural features that come into play at various points throughout your 18.
What makes The Preserve different from many other golf courses you’ve played is the two distinct challenges offered by the front and back nines. The front nine is a true challenge off the tee, with tight fairways and landing areas closely lined by trees and other foliage. The back nine is a totally different (more forgiving) animal, with wide fairways that wind their way through the surrounding golf community. Both nines feature the same supreme conditions, with tees, fairways, and green all in immaculate championship-ready condition.
Playing just over 6,500 yards from the back set of tees (of which there are five), The Preserve Golf Club requires your “A” game if you want to shoot a low score. Fairway and greenside bunkers, areas of water, and rolling terrain all come into play at various points on the front and back, so the course must be managed properly. Keep your ball out of the significant amount of trouble throughout, and you might just walk off the 18th green with one of your lowest scores of the year.
Along with the gorgeous 70.9/131-rated golf course, The Preserve also features a full practice facility with driving range and short game area, a restaurant and snack bar, and a relaxing clubhouse atmosphere that will help you gear up for, and unwind from, your exquisite round. The talented staff is always friendly, and will do everything they can to make your round at The Preserve Golf Club one you’ll never forget.
