Timber Trace Golf Club
Revisit a long-time Livingston County favorite amidst its return to its former glory: $25 for 18 Holes with Cart at Timber Trace Golf Club in Pinckney ($55 Value. Expires November 1, 2022!)
If you’re looking for championship-style golf with that "up-north" feel — without having to leave the comfort of Southeastern Michigan — Timber Trace Golf Club is exactly the place you’ll want to be. Located in Pickney about halfway between Detroit and Lansing, Timber Trace's long song of history has hit a recent high note thanks to new ownership. Now, this once-spectacular course has been elevated higher than ever before, creating an impressive round of 18 holes you’d be sorry to miss.
Described as "an American links-style design that combines the best elements of the game of golf — playability, aesthetics and challenge," Timber Trace sets up across 460 acres of rolling terrain surrounding Lake Wallaby. Originally built and opened in 1998, this player-friendly layout's bent grass fairways, five sets of tees, and wonderfully manicured greens averaging 6,200 square-feet have earned a prized 4 ½-Star rating from Golf Digest. Timber Trace is impressive from the first tee to the final green — a 7,000-yard journey full of striking views and much-improved conditions.
You’ll enjoy your practice time on the driving range (which features both mat and natural tees), practice putting green, and chipping area as you prepare for your round. Post-round time offers plenty of options for fun as well, as you count your strokes with a cold drink and a delicious bite to eat in the clubhouse restaurant.
A great Michigan course that has only gotten better thanks to new ownership, Timber Trace Golf Club is ripe and ready to be played.
