Centennial Golf Course
Play a great Michigan course in the shadow of some fantastic breweries with today’s feature: $25 for 18 Holes with Cart at Centennial Golf Course in Bellaire ($55 Value. Good Any Time until October 1, 2023!)
Golf season is officially hitting Michigan and “Up North” is one of the best places to treat yourself to a round. Luckily, with today’s feature – a round of golf at The Bellaire Centennial Golf Course – you’ll be treated to one of Northwestern Michigan’s most enjoyable public courses. Grab your clubs and your favorite playing partners because Bellaire Centennial is waiting for you.
With three holes stretching past the 500-yard mark and several lengthy par-4s on the menu, utilizing all of your clubs–especially your driver and woods–is essential to shooting a low score at Bellaire Centennial. The course takes you through a variety of challenges that will keep you on your toes. Half of the course’s holes are open – with very little punishment for tee shots or approaches that go astray. However, this luxury isn’t afforded to you throughout the full 18 as the other half of the holes are carved through a tight tree-lined expanse – putting accuracy at a premium. Combine this with plenty of cleverly placed sand bunkers and a pond, and this Smith Family-designed layout presents much more challenge than it advertises on the surface.
Playing just about 6,100 yards from the back set of tees, The Bellaire Centennial Golf Course presents its toughest challenge to you almost right out of the gate. Playing 434 yards from the tips, the par-4 third hole is the course’s most difficult and rated as its #1 handicap. Defeat this foe early without too much damage to your overall score, and you’ll be set up to make it through the turn in good shape.
Since opening in the early 1990s, The Bellaire Centennial Golf Course has been a Michigan public golf institution. Don’t miss your chance to experience this family tradition of golf – reserve your round at The Bellaire Centennial Golf Course now!
