Walt Disney World® Golf
While every course on the Walt Disney World® Golf roster maintains high standards, the exceptional conditions and overall experience at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course place is on a level all its own — even as it puts the finishing touches on a massive renovation. Disney's Magnolia has reopened as a 14-hole course, showcasing the improvements that will debut on the full 18 later this year, including:
• New teeing grounds with overseeded Bermuda grass
• Reimagined greenside and fairway bunkers
• Newly recontoured Bermuda grass greens that offer fast and true putting surfaces
The above renovations notwithstanding, the layout of Disney's Magnolia Golf Course generally remains unchanged, constructed in Tour style with wide fairways, numerous bunkers, and intricate green complexes — a charming and potent combination, which, when taken with the aforementioned conditioning, earned a 4-Star rating from Golf Digest. With a maximum of 7,516 yards from the longest set of five tees, Disney's Magnolia Golf Course isn’t just the longest course, it arguably is the most challenging as well. Though there are certainly plenty of scoring opportunities, the course mounts a considerable defense of par with water on 11 of its 18 holes.
Frequent elevated tees provide a perfect platform from which to attack the course’s wide landing areas and get yourself in position for your approach. The greens here are accommodating and receptive, but well-guarded with trees, and other hazards too - so be sure to select the right club when approaching. Mastering Disney's Magnolia Golf Course is all about playing to your strengths, putting well, and most importantly, having fun.
As demonstrated by everything from its history on the PGA Tour to its modern high ratings and frequent five-star reviews, every detail at Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course has been approached with great care, resulting in the out-of-this-world experience one expects from Walt Disney World® Golf.
