Cranebrook Hills Golf Course
Welcome to Cranebrook Hills Golf Course, a pleasant 9-hole public course located in Auburn, New York. Recently acquired by new owners, this course offers a refreshed golfing experience ideal for both local and visiting golfers.
Named after the Crane Brook, the course features engaging challenges throughout its layout. The brook cuts through a third of the holes, including twice on the #1-handicap par-4 No. 9, slicing the landing zone practically an island framed by trees and water, making it the toughest hole on the course.
Spanning 2,643 yards from the blue tees, the course has a rating of 33.3 and a slope of 107, offering a balanced test of skill for golfers at various levels. Each hole has distinct characteristics, such as the course’s only par-5, hole #4, which is particularly challenging with a pond guarding the green. Hole #8 is a shorter par-4 that encourages aggressive play off the tee but also requires caution due to potential out-of-bounds on both sides.
Cranebrook Hills provides a consistently enjoyable golf experience, where players can appreciate both the sport and the serene natural environment that envelops them. It's a great place for golfers looking for a relaxed yet challenging round. For those looking to enhance their game, the varied terrain and strategic layout provide ample opportunities to improve skills and strategy on the course.
