Harkers Hollow Golf Club
Enjoy classic to contemporary with today’s feature: $29 for 18 Holes with Cart at Harkers Hollow Golf Club in Philipsburg near Easton ($68 Value. Expires November 1, 2024!)
When today’s historic feature course, Harker’s Hollow in Phillipsburg, first opened its doors in 1929, it was truly the toast of the town. Designed by Robert White, first PGA of America president, and incorporating the rolling topography of the landscape just alongside the Delaware River, Harker’s was a test for even the most skilled players and provided countless joyful rounds to all who visited. Fast forward to many years later, during golf’s resurgence in the 90s and aughts, and this beautiful track had become tired and timid – giving golfers little reason to return.
But now, everything is different. Thanks to new ownership with a clear vision to revitalize the course back to, and beyond, its apex and days of glory, Harker’s Hollow is back and the staff is working to build a diverse customer base of loyal champions. The course itself, playing just over 6,400 yards from the back set of tees (of which there are four) already showed stunning signs of improvement during the last season and the 177-acre course’s conditions will no-doubt continue to impress in years to come. But the work isn’t done, with many changes coming and each improvement scheduled, planned and budgeted based on the greatest need, feasibility and largest overall impact on the facility as a whole. The results will be something truly special – a Harker’s Hollow that will reclaim its place atop the list of must-play courses in the Garden State.
Though the traditional Parkland-style golf course with its long fairways and small greens is the crown jewel at HH, there is plenty at the facility (and coming!) to enjoy. The Uniontown Bar & Grill serves up many local favorites and the banquet facility provides an absolutely exceptional host venue for weddings, parties, and functions of all sizes.
Don’t miss this chance to not only experience the glory of what Harker’s Hollow once was, but also all the greatness to come. Reserve your round now with today’s feature from GroupGolfer.
