Grantwood Golf Course
Grantwood Golf Course is a well-regarded municipal course in Solon, Ohio, and known by locals as a fair, exciting test of golf for players of all skill levels.
Designed in 1924 by Grant Wilson and Harold Paddock, this classic layout is characterized by mostly straight, narrow fairways and tricky approaches into greens that could be considered small when compared to modern courses. The longest set of tees measures 6,429 yards, but can also be dialed back to as little as 4,976 yards. The primary challenge players face is avoiding the more than 40 bunkers dotting the landscape, or staying dry on the ten holes where water comes into play.
In addition to its beloved course, Grantwood also offers a natural grass driving range that includes 15 covered heated hitting bays which allow for year-round practice, regardless of the weather.
Guests can also join clinics for adults and juniors, or take advantage of private instruction with one of Grantwood's professional staff.
Don't pass up this chance to enjoy the experience of Grantwood Golf Course, one of Ohio's best-rated municipal courses.
