Majestic Springs Golf Club
Pull the clubs out of the trunk, warm up that swing and grab a cold one with today’s feature: $24 for 18 Holes with Cart, Range Balls and Half-Off a Six-Pack of Beer at Majestic Springs Golf Club in Wilmington ($48 Value. Expires December 26, 2011.)
Once just a dream, Majestic Springs Golf Club became a reality when the McKay family decided to take that dream and turn it into a reality set upon beautiful Southwest Ohio farmland. This championship layout came from the brilliant mind of Barry T. Serafin, a renowned designer of some of Central and Southern Ohio’s finest tracks. With rolling bent grass fairways framed of mature hardwoods and long fescue grass, what more could you ask for this fall golf season?
Majestic Springs brings a mix of a links-style nuances — tall grass and open land — and mixes it up with undulating fairways framed out of hardwoods. Serafin purposefully allowed nature to do most of the work; the course follows the contours of the rolling meadows upon which it was built, paying respect to the natural lay of the land.
Set on 220 acres, Majestic Spring's 18 holes possess 58 sand bunkers, nine ponds and various elevation changes bring a unique challenge to each golfer. Furthermore, Majestic Springs appeals to golfers of all skill levels with four different tee locations, allowing golfers to match their ability to what Majestic has to offer. This moderate-length par-71 layout measures out to 6,464 yards from the tips with a course/slope rating of 71/129.
Be sure to warm those clubs up before you hit the links here at Majestic Springs — it’ll help keep that fescue grass picturesque instead of troublesome. While you’re improving your game before teeing off, swing into the pro shop at Majestic Springs, where you’ll find brand names like Titleist, Callaway, Nike and more, waiting to be put on your roster. Also, tally up the days scores with a cold one and a generous menu selection — they have it all.
Whether you’re sneaking out of work to play 18 during the week or your grabbing the guys and making a Saturday of it, let General Manager Dennis Michael and his staff at Majestic Springs treat you to an 18 worth coming back for!
